One of the most common questions we get at On Tap Trailers: “How much does it actually cost to rent a mobile bar trailer?” Most DFW bar companies hide their pricing behind a quote form. We won’t. Here’s a complete breakdown for 2025.

The Short Answer: $800–$3,500

Mobile bar trailer rental in the Dallas / North Texas area typically runs $800 to $3,500, depending on three factors: event type, hours of service, and guest count. That price includes the trailer, bartender, equipment, and delivery — but not alcohol (see dry hire explainer).

Price by Event Type (On Tap Trailers 2025 Rates)

Weddings

  • 4 hours, up to 100 guests: $2,000
  • 5 hours, up to 150 guests: $2,800
  • 6 hours, 150+ guests: $3,500

Corporate Events

  • 4 hours, up to 75 guests: $1,800
  • 4 hours, 75–150 guests: $2,500
  • 5 hours, 150+ guests: $3,200

Bachelorette & Bachelor Parties

  • 3 hours, up to 30 guests: $800
  • 4 hours, up to 30 guests: $1,200
  • 5 hours, up to 30 guests: $1,600

Private Parties (Birthdays, Graduations, etc.)

  • 3 hours, up to 50 guests: $800
  • 4 hours, up to 50 guests: $1,200
  • 5 hours, up to 50 guests: $1,500

What’s Included in Every Booking

Regardless of event type, every On Tap Trailers booking includes:

  • Cedar-and-black mobile bar trailer
  • TABC-certified bartender
  • Ice, mixers, garnishes, cups, and glassware
  • Delivery, setup, and teardown
  • Up to 30 miles travel from Frisco, TX

What’s NOT Included (and Why That’s Good)

Alcohol is not included — intentionally. Under the dry hire model, you purchase your own bottles from any Texas-licensed retailer. This keeps costs dramatically lower than full-service bars that mark up alcohol 200–400%.

For a 100-person wedding with 5 hours of bar service, buying your own alcohol at Spec’s typically costs $400–$800. A full-service bar charging per-person would run $2,000–$4,000 for the same event just for the alcohol portion.

Common Add-Ons

  • Additional service hour: $150
  • Travel beyond 30 miles: $2.50/mile
  • Second bartender: $200
  • Custom event signage: $75–$200
  • Generator (for venues without power): $100

How Does On Tap Trailers Compare to DFW Competitors?

Other DFW mobile bar companies — including Silvercloud Trailer Events, The Drink Trailer, Swig Mobile Bar, and Cantina Caravan — generally don’t publish pricing. When prices are available, comparable service in the market ranges from $999 (3-hour Airstream rental, Silvercloud) to $3,800+ for full-service packages.

On Tap Trailers positions squarely in the mid-market at transparent, published rates — with no quote wall and no surprise fees.
